The Subterranean

For the third edition of FIBER Festival – The Subterranean, we created the scenography of the club night held at Radion, Amsterdam. 52 single beam lasers were used and combined with live visuals using projection mapping techniques. With the architecture of Radion taken as a starting point, the lasers were set up in five different compositions, each representing a DJ or live act. The video content was then mapped onto the shapes created by the different laser positions, revealing the subterranean layers on the concrete walls of the venue’s main room. Smoke was used to enhance the visibility of the setup and to create an extra dimension inside the space.
